I was only 23. I felt like life was pulling me wherever it wanted, and I had lost all control. I was in a Drift State. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDays before surgery, I was gifted a sketchbook and pens. While I couldn't surf, walk my dog, or work my bartending jobs, I began a new flow. Drawing and creating. To me, drawing is like surfing.
